Dundee United 1 Celtic 0 (Sunday)
United dug deep to grab a win over Celtic at Tannadice - and confirm Europa League football for next season. United went ahead after 21 minutes when Scott Robertson bulleted home a header from Paul Dixon's cross but the visitors almost levelled on the stroke of half-time when Anthony Stokes just failed to connect with Kris Commons' cross. United pressed after the break and Jon Daly came close with an effort that was blocked by Charlie Mulgrew and John Rankin fired the rebound wide. Celtic pushed for an equaliser late on and Gary Hooper drove narrowly wide with ten minutes left. Substitute Johnny Russell almost wrapped it up for the hosts only to be denied by Mulgrew's saving tackle.
Kilmarnock 1 Aberdeen 1
Kilmarnock and Aberdeen drew for the third time this season as Killie edged closer to finishing top of the bottom six. Youngster Jamie Masson scored his first Dons goal when he finished off Josh Magennis's cross, but Killie levelled seven minutes after the interval when Dean Shiels took William Gros's pass and slotted the ball past the despairing Jason Brown. Gros came close to a winner but Brown smothered his drive with 20 minutes to go.
Rangers 0 Motherwell 0
Rangers weren’t able to give their fans a win in their final home game of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League season. Sone Aluko saw an early drive saved by Darren Randolph and Henrik Ojamaa rounded Allan McGregor but his cut-back to Jamie Murphy was weak. Motherwell had another opening when Chris Humphrey went clear but his pass to Murphy was cleared by substitute Ross Perry. Lee McCulloch headed wide for Rangers but a point apiece was about right.
St Mirren 0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1
Skipper Richie Foran’s late goal earned Caley Thistle a Paisley win. St Mirren goalkeeper Craig Samson made two smart stops to keep out powerful first-half strikes from Aaron Doran. Ryan Esson also made good saves to deny Jeroen Tesselaar and Steven Thompson shortly before the interval. The game seemed to be drifting towards a stalemate but Greg Tansey’s free-kick was headed in by Foran for the winner five minutes from time.
Hearts 2 St Johnstone 0 (Sunday)
Hearts leap-frogged Saints to rise to fifth place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League table. The home side took the lead after 21 minutes when Rudi Skacel fired home after Ryan McGowan's pass. Marius Zaliukas headed Ian Black's free-kick wide as the home side pressed for a second goal. That goal duly arrived when Zaliukas' defensive partner Andy Webster converted Danny Grainger's cross shortly before the hour.
