Competition Terms and Conditions
- This prize draw is open to all members of the public aged 18 years or over and
resident in the UK, except anyone who is professionally connected with this
prize draw and any members of their immediate family.
- To enter you must be registered for and logged onto www.cbfootball.co.uk , click
on the competitions section of the website and tell us why the Clydesdale Bank
Premier League Trophy will benefit your local event. Alternatively, send your
name, together with details of your event and why having the Clydesdale Bank
Premier League Trophy present at your event will benefit your event along with a
contact telephone number on a blank piece of paper to Scott Stevenson, The
Sports Business, 20 Park Circus, Glasgow G3 6BE. Only one entry per person, per
month.
- The closing date for receipt of entries is 5pm on the last day of each month
(October 2011 – May 2012). No responsibility will be taken for entries lost,
damaged, incomplete or illegible. Any proof of posting mail will not be accepted
as proof of delivery. However, read receipt from e-mails would act as proof of
receipt. Entries may be disqualified if incomplete or illegible.
- There will be eight winners selected on merit of their entry and the events
organising body (Clydesdale Bank) and an independent adjudicator will judge and
deem the event that will benefit most from the Clydesdale Bank Premier League
trophy being present. One winner will be picked each month from October 2011 –
May 2012.
- The winners will be contacted by telephone by the 7th of each month (November
2011 – May 2012).
- The competition prize consists of having the Clydesdale Bank Premier League
Trophy along at your event for the day. For the terms of the competition a day
will last for a period of at up to 4 hours (unless otherwise stated). All
additional details including organisation of the event and costs related to the
event will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
- The trophy should only be used in a controlled safe and secure environment e.g.
at school, in work or at home in the UK only. The Promoter (Clydesdale Bank)
reserves the right to refuse to allow use of the trophy in any environment it
deems to be insufficiently controlled. The trophy will always be accompanied by
and controlled by security personnel, any touching/lifting of the trophy will be
controlled by the security personnel.
- The prize is not transferable and the date for the trophy visit will be agreed
between the two parties (competition winner and promoter). There is no cash
alternative available to the prize (or any part of it).
- The winner must confirm acceptance of the Prize by 5pm on the 10th of each month
(November 2011 – May 2012). The Promoter reserves the right to award the prize
to another entrant from the remaining entries subject to these terms and
conditions in the event that acceptance is not confirmed by this date.
- If the event for which the trophy is scheduled to be present at is postponed or
delayed for any reason, the prize may be rescheduled; however this is at the
discretion of the Scottish Premier League and the organising body.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at
any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
- Details provided by entrants will only be used for the purposes of administering
this competition.
- For details of the winner and name of the independent observer send an e-mail to
Scott Stevenson at scottstevenson@thesportsbusiness.co.uk after the draw date.
- The winners must co-operate for all reasonable publicity associated with this
prize and accept that the winners name, county and photograph may be used by the
Promoter for promotional purposes.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding. No correspondence will be
entered into.
- By entering this competition all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and
agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
